Astartes pattern Leman Russ Executioner, Mechanicus rising

Greetings all, it has been some time since I posted, life has not been conducive to hobbies due to moving, illness, and other inconveniences. That being said I have not been entirely idle. I am certain many of you have been watching Forge World with great interest regarding what they have been doing with the Horus Heresy. One such item of interest is the Astartes pattern Basilisk and Medusa. Other items are of course what they have been doing with the Mechanicum.

In line with the Astartes pattern artillery, I let my mind wander and I referenced the old Imperial Guard codices, concept art, and even Rogue Trader. Here is the result thus far, converted and awaiting paint.



I have recently been able to start going through various bins and boxes, stumbling across some old projects that never reached completion (I have modeler ADOS... Attention Deficit OOH SHINY!), and I will be posting some additional pictures as things progress. Skitarii incoming!

Great conversion. I never was a fan of IG vehicles design but this version looks a lot (and I mean A LOT) better. And good skils with plasticard, everything looks really claen and sharp. Good job! I'm waiting for more.
