This is the Elysian force so far. I assembled but had BTP paint the troops. I am doing the vehicles and aircraft slowly. I seem to have literally painted myself into a corner having started with Tau, which are sitting maybe halfway done, got a guard army started to fight them and then decided IG was my favorite army so have spent all my time on them until recently when I started adding Inquisition, Mechanicus, and Grey Knights to the mix. It's a real mess on the workbench...but I am never bored. Anyway, here are the Elysians to date: Platoon Command Squad Lt. Power Fist w/ 2 Bodyguards Medic Vox Mortar Team

Nice looking models, but you should put them on the right bases; the prone guys would look good on a biker base rather than a regular round base, missile teams are fine on 2 round base, put the mortar team on the 60 round base.. Looking forward to see more!

Biker bases...good idea! I didn't lie the way the prone guys worked on the small bases at all. Thanks Macnight. BTW, does the base size come into play in a game? I know measurements are taken from the base but is it legal to put models on alternate base sizes?

Nice looking Elysians!
According to GW, minis have to be put on the base that they come with. I blatantly ignore this with many of my 'Chan HWTs, though, as I've converted many of them out of bits (especially for my HB and AC teams) or they were obtained so long ago that the current large base wasn't available. For friendly play, I don't think it's an issue as long as your opponent agrees (and if you've got some of the 60 mm flat bases that you can place the teams on for purposes of determining if they get hit by blasts, etc.), but for playing in tournaments (which I don't do) it may be an issue.
And yeah, definitely get those prone melta gunners on some biker bases as they will look even MOAR awesome-er.

They mash have changed this, but the long standing ruling has been the supplied base or larger.

I ordered some biker bases. Should be a big improvement.

I would like to see a pic against a white background. You've painted them to blend in very well.

Macknight and Trooper are right about the prone model bases but the standing elysians look great on the bases you have. Do those bases come in 60m so you can convert the HWTs?
