So I have been reading over our codex trying to get the new rules and points committed to memory but I'm having a hard time determining who can be our war lord. I understand that Lors Commissars can only be warlord if there are no senior officers in your army. But how does this work with Yarrick? He has both the chain of command special rule and senior officer. So does that mean he negates the chain of command rule, can only be your warlord if there are no OTHER senior officers, or that he can never be your warlord, (as chain of command states that you can not be warlord if a model with senior officer is present, and Yarrick is a senior officer so the rule is present in your list). Also when can you take a tank commander as your warlord? Your warlord has to be an HQ character with the highest leadership in your army, but tank commanders have no leadership. So once again can they only be warlord if no HQ choices with a leadership value are present, or are they always your warlord as no leadership is higher than leadership 10?

The pecking order seems to go like this:
Company Commander Lord Commissar
I don't think that Yarrick can ever be your Warlord, but I believe that you have the option of designating your Tank Commander as your Warlord regardless of the fact that he lacks a Leadership value. If I'm wrong, then a Tank Commander can only be chosen as your Warlord if you have nothing but Tank Commanders in your primary detachment HQ slots.

I believe vehicles are assumed to have leadership 10.
