Hi,
I am wondering if any of you have found a good way to represent vehicle damage during large games?
I am considering using a 'pack of skulls' to mark Hull Point losses,
And have previously used cotton wool to mark weapon destroyed,
... however, when I play large games I can't remember all the damage and cotton wool often moves or, in later games, becomes so prevalent on the model it is hard to tell what isn't damaged.
I know you can get ugly little green tokens but I don't like how they look in photo's.
I have drawn up a load of 'cards' on which the details can be recorded though these ended up ignored by players in the games I have used them as they got buried under rulebooks etc.
I am considering simply deducting hull points with penetrations offering a slim chance of an explodes result only.(so no other damage can occur).
Has any one else found an effective means of recording damage?

How about little pegs in the base if it's a based model or on a base you can put next to the model? Like the cars and family indicators in game of life Oh nostalgia

when they loose the first hull point I put a dice on the vehicle showing the remaining number of hull points, weapons destroyed I have no idea, just remember it lol

I actually have some old second edition dice that were used for vehicle damage results to be more precise (red ones) with 1-5 and an explodes symbol on them so they make excellent markers for hull points and exploded vehicles.
