So I got the painting bug and started painting the last surviving member of the noble and lost Lycerian 133rd. I would say that his arm is missing so I can magnetise two different arms to allow for swaps between Primaris psyker and and Astropath (two different staffs or staff/sword) which may happen at some point, bur in reality my little boy got a hold of him whilst I was cooking tea.. He isn't finished paint job wise but you get the jist. He's battling an undead spinasaurus called Dizzy. With one arm. Because he is awesome.

No way adken, he's only 18 months... I am not prepared as a hobbyist, a parent or a human being for the almighty mess that would come in to being.

Decided to go with a bit of a different look. I think it's from a fantasy kit. Still some touch ups and work on the warp flame to do, but it's getting there. My primaris psyker/Astropath is taking shape.

That's looking good with the purple trim and the funky warp fires. If you manage to get the contrast of light and dark right then it should be quite smashing.

Thanks Empty. Yeah, gonna be working on brightening up those warp fires today. A nice bright burning warp skull should really help it 'pop'.

A glaze (or a shade) over the skull flames might work well if you are having troubles blending the similar shades on it. Ignore this if you didn't add any washes yet or if it is just the picture making it look like that.
It is looking cleaner than in the last photo. Drybrush over the leg on the right a little, some of the spotches of lighter grey look a little too large.
I really like the brass buttons on the this model. They work really well with the grey and purple.
