Hi Guys
I'm in the process of making some rough riders - I can't find any horses!!
Does anyone have any experience? What do you all recommend?
Currently thinking about using the Wood Elf Glade Rider horses or even from other modelling companies.
Help appreciated

Depends on the background of your army. I'm going to be using Bretonian horses for mine.

It's a Praetorian Army - so all proper!
Is there any otherway of getting hold of them without buying whole boxed sets?

They used to sell them in 5 horse boxed sets ,under 'mounts' in the fantasy section but I can't see them there now. If you can't find them on the site it might be worth looking into using alternative mounts.

I got some skeletal fantasy horses to try and make into heretic rough riders but never got around to it so I dunno if theyll fit

Where abouts are you located Srdm? I have 4 or 5 boxes of pistolers that im not using all the horses from. I may be able to send you some.

I've managed to pick up a load of Empire horses from eBay relatively cheap. You can find the original Riders fairly regularly too but they tend to be a bit pricier and the horses are slightly smaller than recent Empire kits.
