3250pts Apoc game - advice needed

I have been playing for a couple of years now but this is the third time I have ever played an Apoc size game,

I will be playing against the dark eldar/elder and orks lots of orks.

I have couple of ideas how I'm playing to play this list,

All the tanks, heavy support and stormlord behind the defence line with the AA guns,
Planning to blob up the heavy weapons infantry squads with Cortez and the heavy weapons teams all in the stormlord.

Vendetta will have the special weapons team with the double democharge in to be dropped into the enemy deployment and destroy any thing they can find.

Vets in chrimea will be held back with the other 2 infantry squads which will be combined and be lead by yarricks to come in after in first round of fire.

I'm not sure what to do with the command squad and platoon squad, also the other speical weapons teams.

Any idea how i can use the last couple of points?
Are these good plans?

Be sure to have juicy sacraficial targets to draw fire, especially against dark eldar, completely block out the no man's land in front of your defensive position with assaulting troops to stall his assault and give your tanks time to take out his. Ensure you have command squads, or special weapons teams wandering around the rear to guard your army from deep strikers or break throughs, use the sacrafucial squad lined up and spread out in front of multiple other squads, ( with more and better special weapons) so only one squad is shot at and assaulted and when they are wiped out the enemy is left vulnerable to your remaining squads that were being shielded,
goodluck commerade! Remember a good offense is a a good defense, infantry win skirmishes, tanks win battles and artillery win wars, use orders wisely, never give up, fucos fire on highest threat target till it's gone, and may the emperors favor be with you!
