This is my first begginers attempt of IG lists - comments welcome:
HQ: (316 pts)
CCS: Commander with bolter, Autocannon team, Officer of the Fleet, Master of Ordnance; Chimera: Turret multilaser, hull heavy bolter, pintle mounted storm bolter
Enginseer: Melta bomb + 4 servitors
Ministorium Priest (x2)
ELITES: (145 pts)
3x Bullgryns with Slabshield
TROOPS: (503 pts)
Vet Squad 1: Carapace, Demolitions, 2x Flamer, Heavy Flamer, Sergeant Power Axe+Bolt Pistol
Vet Squad 2: Carapace, 2x Melta, Heavy Flamer, Sergeant with Bolter; Chimera: Multilaser + Heavy Flamer
Vet Squad 3: Carapace, 2x Melta, Heavy Flamer, Sergeant with Bolter; Chimera: Multilaser + Heavy Flamer
FAST ATTACK: (295 pts)
Valkyrie: Multilaser, Hellstrike Missisles
Vendetta: 2xTwin linked lascannons
HEAVY SUPPORT: (240 pts)
3x Wyvern with HB and Enclosed Crew Compartment
Tactics:
Wyverns are located in some safe place behind los-blocking terrain. If such place is lacking, extra cover is provided by bullgryns that also act as a speedbumpin case something gets close.
Enginseer keeps Wyverns cosy and in good health, also provides second speedbump. In case something harder comes, seer has also meltabomb in his pocket.
CCS in Chimera locate themselves on some objective close to Wyverns and act as a pillbox, capable of decimating infantry and harming light vehicles. Also, OotF takes care of timely arrival of flyers. MoO provides one more wild template.
Wyvern Suppression Tanks suppress and do Wyvern things.
Vet Squad 1 rides a Valkyries, grav-chutes close to meanest, scariest and biggest enemy, hopefully survives round of shooting due to carapace, hopefully burns counter-attackers with their Flamers and succesfully places meltabombs on target. In any case, their threat rating should be high enough that they keep enemy busy while...
Vet Squads 2 & 3 mount their Chimeras and employ melta-drivebys
Valkyrie, having dropped Vets, uses missisles on remaining tougher targets
Vendetta provides anti-air protection and additional armour-hunting capacity
Priest 1 babysits Ogryns, Priest 2 joins demolition vet squads.
