Hello!
So as any of you who follow my Word Bearers blog know, I am very confused as to why the traitor legions and renegade chapters can't use newer imperial tech or even tech not so new but somehow missing from the ranks of the chaos legions, such as attack bikes, land speeders, whirlwinds, centurions, Storm Talons etc.
As such I'm going to be building a few conversions that can be one thing in fluff but represented by another on the tabletop. I'll be starting with my chaos scouts, using Nurgle cultists rules on the tabletop.
I'll be keeping a pictorial record of my conversions to hopefully inspire, but I'm also looking for suggestions as to how best convert loyalist models and what rules I could use for these on the tabletop,
More coming soon, Cheers Paradill

The options here are so vast it would be a shame not to mix in non-GW plastic. Y'know, really test the tournament legal standard.
After a little extra thought, I can see why scout's don't exist in the table top or really in the fluff. The warp is known to corrupt and taint the gene-seed of Chaos Space Marines so that they actually cannot pass on their gene-seed onto the next generation.
I've read a story about Fabious Bile harvesting the gene-seed of loyalist's for the those loyal to the dark Gods, but that is about it.
Playing advocate to your cause... they would still make some sweet cultist's, personally I think the pistol/close combat knives will be the best configuration. I imagine you will have a difficult time finding use for sniper rifles and missile launcher's.
