I recently received a Wargames Factory Eisenkern Keilerkoff (boars head) APC from my wife for Valentine's Day. Isn't she the greatest. I love the look of this kit (especially when compared with the Taurox which I don't like) and wanted to see if it would make a suitable sub for either a Chimera or a Taurox.
I got the kit and immediately set about putting it together. Assembly was easy and went fairly quickly. I did the interior of the crew compartment but that could be left off if you don't want to open the thing up. The plastic as a bit softer than GW stuff so cutting and shaving were easier. I found the quality of the kit to be as good or better than GW stuff with regard to mold lines, detail sharpness, fit of pieces, etc.
The wheels are supposed to rotate so there are screws to hold them on and allow for rotation and they are a soft black rubbery plastic. I don't know how well they will hold paint.
I kit bashed a couple of weapon options (twinlinked autocannons from a Hydra, and the missile launcher from some hunter killer missiles I had on hand. I plan on buying some Taurox weapons bits to see if they will work with this kit.
Here are the photos,
As you can see the Kieler is a bit longer than the chimera and probably longer than a Taurox (which I don't have)

These photos show that the two are about the same width and height

Here you can see that the Kieler as a much prettier and sleeker backend than the Chimera

Here's what a Cadian looks like next to the Kieler. Note the autocannon weapons

Now that I have one I really, really love this kit. I want to pick up another one and then get some Taurox weapons bits to see if I can make this my full time Taurox substitute. What do you guys think?
