Pretty simple question really. What are your thoughts on basing? I'm thinking of ditching my scenic basing in favour of clear plastic bases. Like this  Arguments for and against please. |

I think clear......
Its different and it will wont look silly on the table for example, your playing on a trench type table and you've got roads and the like for bases ect ect
Clear ones I reckon will look good in some respects but I love a well bases mini
Actually I think I've just talked myself out of this one

Clear plastic. As above - they should look good on any type of terrain.

Scenic. Clear plastic will never look as out of place as scenic will at its worse, but it will never look as good as scenic at its best. Also it seems a little... cheesey(?), cheap(?). Oh, and a good scenic base tells a bit of your army's story.

Scenic! The difference my regular troops look now that they are on nice bases is night and day.
