Hello everyone,
I finished painting up 2 wyvern mortar systems. Instead of buying new wyvern kits, I assembled converted “wyvern” mortar systems using the old hunker killer missile kits from the IG tanks and a metal missile system from the old land-speeder. I just place them on top of the front of my griffons and tell my opponents it’s a wyvern not a griffon. No one has complained yet.

At some point I’ll need to hide the old griffon barrel. I’ll probably just take some medical gauze, harden it with white glue, paint it, and then stick it on over the barrels. That way I have the option of using them as griffons or as wyverns.
