I just loved all the bits I got with my new Ogryn box set and after making a squad of three Bullgryns I figure out a way to make use of the remaining bits. I found some ogre kingdoms bodies and bits on ebay and combined the two sets of bits to get these guys. I found that the ogryn arms do not fit well on the ogre bodies. I found it easier to use ogre arms and cut down the wrists to fit into the Ogryn hands holding the weapons. No modifications were required for the heads and I did have to shave off the inside of the suppression shields to get them to solidly glue on to the arms. I also had to cut the weapons off the left arms of the ogres. I think the work pretty well. What do you guys think? Great way to extend the kit contents if you are happy with the more feral look.

They look good and feral! Harkens back to the second generation metal Ogryns (with the horned helmets, fetishes, etc.). I may have to steal this idea. Yerr...

I now have about 28 Ogryn, most are the old metal ones with horns, etc. So yeah I do like the feral, shirtless look, they're Ogryn aren't they not Mordians. I only have one of the big newer metal guys and I use him as a bone'ead. I think the ogre bodies/arms with the gasmask head really give these guys an ominous look. I can't wait to paint them up.

That's heresy if I've ever seen it.

Yeah, I've got about 30 or so of the old metal ones. I think your Bullgryns would fit in well with them.

I'm gonna have to rearrange my painting priority schedule and get these guys painted to see how they stand up next to my old metal ogryn. Dang so much painting, so little time. Anyone know where I can find someone to pay me a bunch of cash to sit around and play with and paint miniatures?

Get a gamestore job? Or get a job with teens like me, and slowly talk the other staff into letting you run games. I will be trying DnD Monday afternoon and have hopes of sometime running 40K (but need terrain and a green tablecloth first). Not to mention KSP, which I've spent several hours teaching the kids at work just this last week -- and they're loving it!
On the OP, my Ogryns were Fantasy ones with grenade launchers and leftover Imperial bits and tank armor. Not great, but darn cheap at $40 for six.

The kitbashes are a great idea.
Maybe ask Cosmic for advice; he's set up his own painting studio for commissions now, if that's what you want to get into. I think your stuff is well painted.

Thanks for the complement, but my stuff is usually painted to a barely table top standard and I spend hours to get that look. I would need to get much better and faster to make any attempt to charge for my painting services. I guess I'll stick to my retired military pay and teacher's salary.
