Has anyone managed to represent the exhaust on an engine? Whether it's a Valk engine, land speeder or jump pack.

I'm more after trying to get the "10,000 foot pounds of superheated thrust" look.

Hm. How about a wire sculpture painted in glowing colors?
Or simply painting the inside of the engine as you would a fire.

I've had a think ... anyone think that clear silicone with a pigment added could do the trick ?

Clear rod filed to a cone and sanded smooth, painted with clear gloss colors would also do the trick nicely.
