How much coverage does a spray can give?

Hi,

I have a can of citadel spray paint and am wondering how many models I can coat with it.

I have 40 eldar infantry and 3 razor wing jet fighters to paint.

I reckon you'll need another 1.5 cans, assuming that you're spraying 8-10 infantry at once. Depends what size box you put them in. If you put loads in together you save on the spray.

Another method is sticky double sided tape and a stick. (This is from an old WD)
Just stick all the infantry on the stick, on all sides, then turn and spray the whole lot. The only difficult bit is waiting for it all to dry (box method is easier on that front)

I would get down halfords and buy their grey primer spray, larger can and cheaper, only time I use gw spray is if the army is mainly black or base coating a colour !like Mac blue or lead Belcher.
