Jud's new Death Korps of Krieg army

Hey guys and gals,
I fell on some hard times around the beginning of the year and had to sell my
beloved Krieg.
Things are picking up again so I thought I'd resurrect my Krieg project.
I'm planning on building it around the Deathrider CAD from the Vraks book.
With that in mind I've built a standard bearer for my Deathrider command squad.
I've changed the colour scheme to black great coats and green armour.

Finally got round to adding another model to the Krieg.
I've made my Deathrider Officer, Marius Konstantin reborn.
I've used some bitz I had for my Ultramarines to try
and make him look the part.
I must admit I prefer kit bashes over full on conversions
(Coz I'm too scared to start hacking things up!)
I'm really enjoying working on the Krieg again, I think
they suit my painting style better than the Ultramarines.
Next up will be either more Deathriders or some Engineers.

Got the sergeant of my Engineers squad done.
At this point I'm thinking that I want a couple
of squads of these guys with Hades Breaching Drills.
They make for a good distraction unit while the
Deathriders advance.

Nice! He looks suitably dirty for having crawled through a tunnel, without it taking away from the model.

Those Drills are cool models and Great fun to play with (I imagine).. they are fun to play against at any rate. I'm looking forward to seeing them painted up.

I fully intend on running at least 2 squads with drills.
I've nearly finished painting my first 5 Engineers,
I'll post some pics when I'm done.

Here is my first minimum sized squad of Engineers,
I'm loving working on the Krieg again.
At this stage I'm just buying stuff I want to paint,
hopefully when the dust settles I'll have an effective
army!

Progress!
Finished my third Deathrider (only about 30 to go!)
he'll be added to the command squad.
Got 5 more coming through the post so should keep
me out of trouble for a bit!
