I am!
I work at a GW so I've been using them a lot lately. My favorites are the greys and greens. And now we have a brighter red that will go on one coat too.

I know a lot of gamers who just want to paint their guys up so they can play. And this will definately help their armies look nicer. A lot of what I see is just a single coat and it doesn't look so great because you can see the black primer through the paint. With these one-coat paint peoples' armies will look a lot nicer. For those of you who want to do a quick job on your army so you can play right away, use the foundation paints! Your armies will look much nicer, and they have all sorts of colors. Thanks ;D

the GBP is about 2dollars to the pound, or close to it since the falling dollar.I would love to try these out and since my local hobby place won't get any until one of us orders them i will have to put in an order. So if any one that has used them yet could you tell us how they go on, how much do you have to water them down...thanks in advance.

there not so good watered down i've found there best for your base coat providing a solid base to start work on you still require your other colours for hilighting

And watering down leaves some patches here and there

They aren't meant to be watered down at all. They go on very smooth out of the pot. Watering them down kind or defeats their purpose. They do mix with the regular paints alright, but the only issue is that they dry out on the palet a lot sooner.
Great paints in my opinion.

So are they only used for basecoats?

I've used them for basecoats, drybrushing bases, and have highlighted with them. They can be used just as any paints, they are just really good for beginners/gamers who only want to do a basecoat so that they are ready to play.

i recently bought one foundation paint (tausept ochre) it is a lifesaver. i use i t every time i paint. A word advice: be sparing with it, yull be suprised how little you need.

And a handy thing is you can mix in some of the normal paints for a different coulor and theres so much pigmint it still works.
