Heya,
Problem: I have a lot of models and nothing to store them in really. I have a lot of army cases but I prefer to use them for transport not storage. Does anyone have any good ideas for storing lots of metal/plastic/unassembled/unpainted/painted models?
Thanks!

I'm the same, big plastic clear boxes, for finished and "to do" models, but don't leave those boxes in direct sunlight, th eplastic tends to heat like a dam greenhouse. I had an autocannon heavy weapon team become completely distorted as the base turned into a black plastic ball, I blame the warp and all its chaotic evil!!!....oh and my stupidity (but don't tell the troops)

Thanks! I'll have to check out some store for that stuff. But how would you store the stuff inside the conainters? I would like that they would fall over and chip and stuff. I wish I could get all the foam I want for all the figs I have , then I guess there wouldn't be an issue.

I use layers of card and bubblewrap to stop the minis getting damaged.

Wrap them up , put in hard cardboard boxes, head towards my freezing chamber where they will lay for all eternity

thats a good idea to have different drawers to hold projects taht aren't done.I usually leave them on the table while i'm working on them until my girl friend yells at me to move my toys or her cats decide they are toys and i get angry and decide for the 100th time she has to get rid of them. I do carry my stuff in GW cases but store them in tubs like woz showed with foam sheets between the layers. It works pretty well for tanks .

I actually use old egg cartens, i can fit about 3 guardsmen in one egg slot and they are packed tight enough so they don't bounce around in there. I can fit my whole army in about 3 of em and for tanks simply carry them or put them in a box with some bubblewrap.
