renegade guard , defenders of Vraks

Now this is all still work in progress and as of right now, i only have the renegade portion. these pics are from games ive played over the past couple weekends, but i haven't had time to post till now !   this is going to be a work up to my eventual huge diorama of the siege of vraks campaign, mainly the portion of the assault on the citadel !  
    in these pictures, my renegades (3000 point game) are assaulting a fortress held by the astra militarum( 30k guys )  
    some arty emplacements, bringing up the rear 

with ogryns inside the chimeras , they move forward towards the main gate 

the chimeras sureg forward and pop smoke! for cover 

    ogryns breaching the gate ! 

renegade guardsmen move in behind the tanks, lack of armour has tuaght them to use cover but as you can see ... not all of them have learned their lesson 
 

a horde of militia and renegades rush towards a breach in the wall, taking on fire from a storm surge ! 


thats what i have for now, once i finish my space wolf commission im going to hop back on this

I saw the Siege of Vraks display board at a
Forgeworld open day years ago, it was epic and
I'm sure yours will be too.
