I basically have the same question as a guy here some years ago. I'm very new to 40k and absolutely unsure which codex to buy for Elysian Droptroops.
I think they are not mentioned in the AM codex, but I also read that the current edition is 7th and that the IA books are 6th. Furthermore there's sometimes talking of D99 rules in another book, but I have no idea what that means and am really confused what to buy.
It would be great if you have some advice. By the way: same problem with the DKoK.
They aren't in the AM codex, neither are the DKoK. I'm not sure what is currently happening with the IA books, I do have IA 8th which has their rules (I'm not sure if they are the most up to date though). I do know that you can still use the Ork rules from IA8 and they work fairly well. There should be some people on this forum who know more about Elysians and DKoK so hopefully they'll notice this thread and give you a more complete answer.

The D99 is a reference to Detachment 99 which is given a full army list in one of the more recently released Imperial Armour publications - the one with the Eldar: Doom of Mymeria (or something like that). Its the second edition release.
It also has an army list for eldar corsiars which is why I know of it.
I'll have a little dig around and may send a useful PM over to you in the near future.
Thank you two! I'm a little happy, that I'm not the only person who is a bit confused about where to look. Especially because if that 6th / 7th edition thing. I also wrote to FW but didn't get any reply.

Army builder should be up to date. They're pretty on the ball with the rules updates (even if they STILL can't make the stupid Deathwatch Blackshield upgrade work properly after three updates). Be super careful with Ebay, though. Tread asked me to look around for a PDF of the 2nd Edition, and everything I found was 1st, even if it was labeled 2nd. I can see that happening with people putting them on Ebay too...
There may be no "I" in "Team", but there is a "Team" in "Meat Shield".
