Back in..... Red?

I think I've been hovering about like a fly enough latley, so here's a little bit of something I've worked on recently. A Preatorian up to tabletop standard. His legs below the shirt are to be removed, and replaced by a kilt, as his head is to be a Pith helmeted one

So, here goes (tabletop standard mind you, also didn't realise how messy certain parts were till I saw it this close..)





Feedback and criticism very welcome! Not bad to say I've not painted anything in about 2 years
Edit: Leather is also incomplete... Damn it...

It's a good start, I look forward to seeing them with proper Pith helmets. Always good to try a few test minis to sort out colors and get back into the swing of things. I'd recommend painting the barrel of the launcher silver, by the by, and maybe a different shade for the drum mag. It make the weapon pop a bit more, but that's personal preference.

Oh.. Yeah. The weapon... Hehehe, yeah.. I don't have any metallics aside from burnished gold. Definitely on the 'to get' list
