So this is going to be the progress Blog for my Crimson Fists allied detatchment. Currently only have one to post, somewhat a test mini.
I would like to introduce you all to my first 'Crimson Fist'!
So.. My theory about indoctrinating a Dark Angel is going to go along the lines of:
During the purge of a Death World, inhabited by Orks, the Crusading Company, and 3rd Company were dispatched to put an end to a growing Waaaagghh! The Orks were still tribalised, but, were vast in number, and should they become organised, they would have caused many worlds to fall from grace.
Upon planetfall, the Crimson Fists discovered they were not the first Adeptus Astartes to come here. They came across a bloody massarce of Dark Angels, seemingly a heroic last stand.. It seemed they were slaughtered to the last man. As they began there advance on the Ork tribes, the scouts started to observe strange behaviour from some of the Orks, some scouts even reporting that they had heard Orks talking about a Green Phantom, haunting there Tribes after killing the 'Umies'.
In reality, it was a surviving Dark Angel, who was taking as many Orks with him as possible. Eventually, they found this wayward Marine, who over the course of 200 years, had become feral, and engulfed in Rage, killing no less than 8 Scouts before he was subdued by a Sergeant, with a hefty blow from a shock mace.
Once captured, he was brought before the commander of the Crusading Company, aboard one of the Planetary Assault Craft, Pedro Kantor was reluctant to waste such talent, but, couldn't allow the Feral Marine free roam of the ship. He ordered the Dark Angel be taken into custody. It was only when passing a statue of the Emporer, that the Crimson Fists learned that all was not lost, as the prisoner dropped to his knees and uttered the first words they had heard him speak.. "The Emporer protects..". Slowly over time, they tempered his mind, brought back the Marine from the edge of insanity..
After half a century, the Battle Brother, was free from the depravity that had over come him, and he was given the choice to return to his Chapter, or, join the Crimson Fists, and continue to hunt Orks.. To him, the choice was clear.. He soon repainted his armour in the deep blue, and crimson of his new found Battle-Brothers.. but, was adamant he wanted to keep his former Chapters Heraldry, to honour the brothers he fought so hard to avenge, Pedro Kantor approved of this, and welcomed the Marine into his service, where he still fights to this day.
Edit: Sorry for terrible picture quality.
