As the title says, what heavy weapons are in the current Space Marine dev box and are there any multiples? It sort of looks like there is a second copy of one of them.

There are two of each kind of heavy weapon in the box.

In addition to the heavy weapons, there's a combi weapon, a power axe, power fist, a lighting claw, and, if memory serves, the usual pistol assortment and a storm bolter. Not a reason to buy the box in and of itself per say, but it offers some neat variety for weapon options if used on another unit.

There are two of each kind of heavy weapon in the box. I was not aware that there were two of every firepower animal in the box. This changes everything. |

Yep two plasmas, multimeltas, grav cannons, missle launchers, Las cannons, and heavy bolters. Nifty kit but expensive and you really need two to get a full dev squad.

Sounds like you get a full dev squad of any one weapon for all the options once you get two of the kits.

Yeah. If you're building a few squads it's worth picking up either a command squad or a full tac squad to make use of the extra weapons. With the exception of one of the arm options for the Sgt, there's no "shared parts' between the various weapon options, so building one weapon type doesn't preclude using the others.
