there are certain times of year when ebay is cheaper, right now is good as many gamers are selling stuff to raise funds for christmas, and january is also good as people are skint.
i got into a habit of bidding low and often, and of being prepared to accept some awful paintwork and glue use.
given the size of the rest of my army this doesn't look too out of place. (i've been collecting guard since 94 and have mostly focused on 2 armies).

Most of it: (though at least 3 platoons of guard are missing - totaling around 140 men, 3 leman russ are also awol, and my big rig, kill krusha and a few other odds and sods)  i like this photo because my white templars actually look white for a change! |
