Has anyone ever set up a good campaign? My friends have been talking, and there are lots of ideas like if x wins then y gets this or what have you. We have even thought about supply or experienced soldiers and the like. I'd like to hear your ideas.

Well yes actually and it was a very complicated campaigne we played over 7 months and we had a map of sections of a city over 27 sections like for ex. industrial complexes north, south, east and west was destroyed before campaigne by orbital.(story line). any way i won after over 100 hard fought battles. all together there were 7 people and seven races. space marines, imperial gaurd, tyranids, orks, eldar, dark eldar, necrons. in the end i forced a 2,500 point force of eldar into a large slag canyon and slaughtered them with 3,500 points of a force.

I ran a campaign a while back, but it wast as complicated and in depth as blackdeaths' was. I used the vogen map and slightly modified the rules, gave people pins to represent their armies, and away we were with a map campaign. the location rules that came with the map helped with depth (like allowing players hoplding certain areas to get certain benefits.) All the stuff was downloaded, and i cud sent you them if you want a look. I dont recall the Sybilla Tertius map tho, what was that?
