As always, your stuff is incredible. Is this one of the larger models?

incredible details and weathering, your talents are phenomenal.
if I have to put in a critique, I would say that the eye lenses look amazing up close though seem a bit confusing from a distance.
that said, he is an excellent example of your skills and cetainly worthy of a showcase!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Tread you're the 2nd person to mention the eyes, I'm intrigued by it!
Is it the crosshair display?

its kind of hard to judge as I'm guessing its a bit bigger then the usual model. it may be that the lenses seem to have highlights picking out both the lower and upper edges, it may also be that the cross hair isn't immediatly concived by the onlooker as the rest of the details are highlights and the crosshairs would be a projection from within the helmet. it may be one of those situations where realism and the actual physics of relections on curved lenses are confusing and there is a need for some artistic liscence and simplification, please take this as encouraging criticism as your work is fantastic, i wish only to help you improve! I took the liberty of doing a little photoshop to show what may or may not work (however, as this was the most zoomed in image, it was the image in which made the details make most sense, and subsequently, the lack of detial leaves them looking a little lacking): here's a simplified version from a longer range shot: and the original: while my photoshop skills are lacking, and the lack of 'shine' in th reflections seem to make the marine more dull and lifeless, the image seems to have an overall simplification which enables the initial glance to conceptualise the marine faster. there may be a way to make it work with the added highlights and cross-hair, maybe a different colour - possibly a light blue? PS - absolutely love the trompe-loeil on the lower leg! your weathering is phenomenal too!
