Hi,
Thought I'd report in with a quick post. I first got into GW and miniature wargaming when I bought my first White Dwarf magazine (which came with a free space marine sergeant). Since then I have spent a lot of money on the plastic crack. Orks were my favourite as a child, but eventually I discovered Guard which became my firm favourite: especially after reading Siege of Vraks volume 1. I like converting my models, and coming up with my own regiments and planets. Currently I have just finished a force based on the French Army of 1918 (with gasmasks and trench coats) and will be moving onto a new force based on the British Paratroopers during Operation Market Garden. I thought I'd give this online forum thing a go. So yes hello! I guess this post ended up a tad longer then expected...

I hope you'll be posting some pictures of your current army, they sound neat! How do you do your converting; greenstuff wizardry or 3rd party suppliers?

I will yes. Was going to have a gander at the picture thread and get some tips from there. Plan to post all the background at some point too. I go almost entirely with 3rd party bits, but do use a bit if green stuff to help it along. The British paras though are my attempt at creating a force using just gw bits so I can actually use them at warhammer world.
