I have heard the term halostick, it seems to be a type of cigarette, or am I just totally wrong? But maybe the drugs of today are illegal in the imperium, I would not be surprised if the were ? not just the heavy stuff but also tobacco an alcohol? Schaeffer smokes a cigar i know, but is it made of tobacco, or is it this halo stuff? I know different planets have different rules but what do you think is the imperial policy

you might be on about Lho sticks unless 'halo stick' is an irl thing, its an "addictive narcotic rolled into a compact tubes and smoked by guardsmen" doesn't say its 'illegal' but it comes with a health warning theres a load of bits in the back of the book. some highly alcholic beverages distilled from wine but also has other 'prohibited narcotics' i think the guard themselves have they're own rules on different drugs and stuff, once your in the guard your planatary rules wouldn't apply but i think your right that some planets have differnt rules, i'd bet that they'rd be some worlds that are tee total and some that use or advocate drugs to enhance people or are just lax on the laws, it might even change between different hives.

I think an army full of junkies would be quite funny! I guess it's a bit like the chem-inhaler doctrine.

The Savlar are no junkies and Lho sticks are no hard drugs. Lho sticks are simple cigarettes like the 40k caffeine is nothing else then simple coffee... Or does someone of you believe that a normal doctor would smoke them? /me points to the GG novels

The word junky means a drug addict. (In reply to Syphon's post.)
