I'm not sure in what subforum this goes, so I figured I'd just stick it here.
The other day I bought an army with a bunch of old metal miniatures, and athough I recognize most; there are a few mysteries in the box.
First of this guy:
At first I thought it was a Necromunda Cawdor/Redemptionist model, because the front of the 'tab' says leader but he appears to have a Mechanicum Cog on his chest. Sadly he is missing his left arm, but I assume he has some kind of power sword/scimitar in his hand, as the curved scabbard is emtpy.
Next up this guy:
It does not look like a warhammer miniature to me, as his weapons are oversized even for GW standards.
Then we have this guy:
He has a bit of a Catachan vibe going on, but he's a good head taller than a Catachan and his pistols aren't exactly 40kish.
The last bit I've found:
Some kind of gun that could very well be warhammer related. It's about the same size as the metal autocannons/lascannons, but it is coverd by some sort of fleshy chaos stuff: it even has a face.
Does the collective insanity knowledge of the IGMB have any idea what these miniatures might be? or what manufacturer might have produced them? I'd be interested to know.
The second picture is a Koralon , by Scotia Grendel. The Koralon have a kind of tyranid vibe but they look too small for tyranid warriors but might be OK as some kind of counts as genestealer with some kind of upgrade. Scotia Grendel were called I-Kore in the early noughties but changed name/ company, and still have most of the stuff from back then.
I got a few of their Viridians. The guard/ colonial marine type ones not the space marine types. And I got the Junker cavalry beasts to make.. weird dragoon style rough riders with ACW historical Confederate riders with shoguns and sabres.
