Hi there. I´ve been modelling painting in a fantasy universe that I´m creating for myself. To do this I´ve been using Fireforge, Oathmark and Frostgrave miniatures mostly. Frostgrave have released a set of multipose female warriors which I have invested me. And while modelling it struck me....they seem to be almost the same size as Escher. So I had to try. A Little carving on the shoulders and voila! A inquisitorial henchwoman. I just need some greenstuff and fixing up Before paint, but I have to say that Frostgrave Soldiers II fits well with Escher. Next step is how the male Frostgrave fits with Orlock arms?

Nice, I've wanted to try some frostgrave model for a while now. But I have to many projects laying around and haven't gotten any work done on any of them lately.
This model looks really good, I'm looking forward to the rest of the henchmen.

So Frostgrave and Orlock wasn´t such a good match. Using the full arms of Orlocks would have been to much work and they would still be too big for FG bodies. But the Orlock head fitted well. Instead I just used a hand and although it was a bit too big it was quite ok. From what I have seen Delaque are thinner than Orlock and perhaps their arms would fit better. I am considering sacrificing Another FG body and try out how they work with Cadians.

The head fits well, the moustache looks good with the fantasy bits.
Cadians are quite chunky, so I doubt they'll look better.. but it's always worth a try. Delaque might be a good fit too; the sleeves aren't as puffy as the Cadian ones. You might want to look into Genestealer Cultists as well; there are quite a bit of weapons on the sprue and the arms are fairly slim.
The size of the hand can be a weird thing though; I have some orlocks and their hands are slightly smaller than the Cadian hands. And the size difference between a Cadian hand and an power armoured marine hand is negligible.

That's a surprise; I remember Cadians being bulkier than the Orlocks. But those arms look good; picking up a box of frostgrave boys to make acolytes or feudal guard out of left-over Cadian bits looks like a decent way to go.

I'm thinking of doing some kind of ash waste nomad gang for necromunda when I get done with my Goliaths.. frostgrave soldiers/cultists could very well make the base for those.
