Yes same here. It's says there are 12 and most of the ones they previewed were for tanks. Here's hoping the majority are fun and interesting infantry ones.

Let's hope so.
The gunnery experts one is going to be pretty popular I imagine. Not sure how I feel about the rest of it.

None of them have really grabbed me as fun or thematically interesting yet, but fingers crossed. Isn't gunnery experts just the vehicle half of the catachan doctrine?

Yup; but you can take something along with it.

I've been trying to find a decent overview of all the Guard stuff. The most complete that I have found so far are two videos by Auspex Tactics. He has decent text recaps in the videos:
I would have preferred to link a nice text article, but the ones I found were incomplete.
Edit: Ugh, I usually hide videos with spoiler tags to stop the thread looking ugly. Am I right in thinking proboards doesn't have that, or am I just blind?
Edit2: Just to post something I am excited about: Armoured sentinels with lascannon/HK missile. I used to love HK sentinels back in 5th. Now they can get a single turn with +2 to hit, which seems ideal for HK. Add to that the damaeg reduction stratagem and I think sentinels may be fun to use.

I've got the book, my first one in the series. Pretty good read though short. The fighting they do describe is gritty and horrible, the tau even suffer from PTSD. In fact they end up seeming more "human" then the actual humans. Also from what I've read there's no mention of the Cadians in this one. The pictures though are all of the usual studio guard army.
Also a little bit disappointed with custom doctrines. Wanted more of them really, maybe less in the way of tank ones, but hey I'm an infantry kinda guy...
