I was digging through my spare parts today and found out I had a box of Imperial Guard vehicle bits, there was almost a whole sentinel in there with the two noticeable parts missing being the 2 ball joints that connect into the feet and are the lowest part of the legs.
I'm pretty sure I looted them for a custom Killa Kan a long time ago so the question is: Do I make some replacements? I'd just need to make a couple of milliput balls, cut some plastic tubing for the pistons and wrap them in something at both ends. Or do I make it a wrecked Sentinel, and if so what would be a good look for it. Collapsed in a crater? Slumped against a wall? Tripped over so the cockpit is ploughed into the ground and the legs are up in the air? Maybe something else?
Right now I have 1 Armoured Sentinel with a missile launcher, and 2 Scout Sentinels with autocannons. I suppose a multi-laser or lascannon sentinel wouldn't go amiss and since they aren't in the start collecting like they were in the battalion box I probably won't be buying any more. They aren't bad for testing colour schemes on either since sentinel pilots are notorious for being punks.

I like sentinels, so I'd try and salvage it myself. But a wrecked one could look pretty good too.

I’m with nutty, it would be a shame not to use it (Sentinels are amazing!)

I vote full sentinel as well, they're great these days.

Alright. I will rebuild it! What configuration?
Hmmmm, you know, making replacement leg parts aside, I could do a concept base for it emerging from water. Maybe try and get some of that UV resin people have been loving recently.

Coming out of water is a sweet idea. Just w as tch out modelling it too low because of it since mouthbreathers might try and claim modelling for advantage. If youre lazy you could always try having it standing in overgrown bush or something as well

well, its always good to have reprtesentative models of when things get wrecked, though you do have some great smoke effects at your disposal so a full sentinel is also good, i reckon you should attempt a full repair.
