I kind of assumed he got killed of 2 editions ago because he never had a model and they stopped updating his rules.. But it is a shame, he was an interesting character.
Cadians getting their own supplement feels kind of weird, they've been the baseline guardsmen for a while. So I wonder what it'll mean for the new codex; I doubt all the other regiments will get their own supplement. And they are generally more specialized; so a supplement for one of those (say a catachan supplement with rules for ambushes/boobytraps or a steel legion mechanized list) would make far more sense to me since they still have models in production.

I’m really disappointed they didn’t roll the Krieg in this book.
Still my Nids will take what we can get rules wise!

The 'rumors' say there'll be two new guard kits and regimental upgrade sprues similar to the new cadian sprue. So Kriegers might get their plastic option and get rolled into the actual codex.

I’m hoping you’re right!
Does bode well that the Infantry Squad has been made in plastic.
I’ll keep buying from Forgeworld until the range gets converted to plastic.
I’m in it for the models.

Given the Death Korps have a Kill Team kit, this is quite promising.
