I really dig the color tone. The muted blues and the restrained highlights on the gold go a long way to making it more of a realistic piece and allows the yellow to contrast and stand out. Well done

Cheers nutty, I’m loving working on the AoS stuff I think the models are as good (if not better) than my recent 40k projects!

Well that didn’t go to plan. I’ve nearly completed the Leviadon, problem is I’m waiting for 2 Contrast paints to arrive and we’re in the middle of a postal strike in the uk! Still it gave me time to work on my first Bastiladon! Absolutely loved this kit, it was easy to assemble in subs for a pleasurable painting experience! One of my favorite kits I ever painted, so much detail without taking away from the simplistic dino nature haha. You did great on it, the scheme is nice abd that power gem came out great

This week’s update is for some Tech support. I chose this model as my Enginseer because I’ve had a soft spot for the Mechanicum since reading the HH novel! I don’t want to start another army so he’s scratched the itch. Such a beautiful and detailed kit, very impressed. So many different textures and techniques to practice. Thanks gents! It’s the first time I’ve painted liquid in a glass container so I’m pretty chuffed with it! This week’s update is the new addition to the 3rds Armoured Company! This is the Command Tank for 4th Squadron. I’ve been saving the Commissar Tank Commander for a while now. In game terms he’ll be packing the Gate Keeper! That is an excellent looking commissar tank, I think the new codex will make leman russ tanks a bit more interesting to field.

Cheers nutty, yeah I’m going to go all out with this one so he’ll have the Gatekeeper (Uber Battlecannon) and the tank ace skill that ignores cover!
I’m really excited by the new codex, I just have to paint my HWT and some Bullgryn then I’ll be ready for battle and up to date.
There’s so many viable builds and combos now, can’t wait to start trying things out!
