Walk, go for it! They were really easy to build and paint. They also come with mauls as well as the gauntlets!
Nutty, thanks, I prefer these to the GW ones and they were half the price!

Cheers Treadiculous! There’s no secret formula, I use a lamp with a magnifying glass built in! I find I can no longer paint without it! It’s been a while but I’m back on the Age of Sigmar stuff! I have completed Volturos High King of the Deep. This was a wonderful kit to build and paint. I used a lot of Citadel Contrast paints and must admit I’m impressed with the finish. My daughter has asked if she can base the Idoneth force! To be honest I’m glad she offered as I have a MASSIVE pile of shame to get through! Next up is the Leviadon (Giant flying Turtle!) I already painted the crew and howdah so shouldn’t take too long. |

I'm still abit confused about the Idoneth place in the world of AoS, but they sure look cool flying around on a turtle  Those blue robes look pretty smooth, is that contrast? or good old fashioned blending? |

Yeah, they’re a bit strange (being vampiric, elven pirates!!) but a cool range of models!
My son saw the ones mounted on sharks and fell in love. That’s the reason for me start Age of Sigmar.
The blue robes are just good old fashioned blending! Thanks for noticing.
Next up will be my first Terradon Rider.

It was a breeze to build, took me around an hour!
I didn’t mind the hole in the bottom (I’m too lazy to paint the underside of my tanks!) and it actually helped with the painting as it gave me something to hold on to!
All in a great kit I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of adding it to their collection.

Its definitely on the list. I absolutely love the heavy ordinance teams, we should have always had those (outside of forgeworld). At some point soonish i want to get a platoon and some support of the new stuff. They shall be the newly formed 96th Tracian Shock Infantry Regiment for the infantry, 98th Medium Armor Regiment for the newly built armor and 99th Field Ordance Regiment for the batteries. And now to copy and paste that into my blog so i remember haha
Back to your stuff though, you definitly managed to krieg it up. The paint job goes a long way to make you forget the curvy new style GW has been going with and place it with the older blocky style we love in the Imperium. Keep em coming, looking forward to if you do a new sentinel. Im eager to play with that kit

The base also looks nice, those leaves are a nice touch

The armor looks incredible, you really did him justice man! If i had to pick something id say maybe a bit more blending on the green of the cloak but even that looks great

Sweet, I like how he sort of blends into the throne from a distance. So the mask draws the eye and then you realize there's a messed up zombie frog beneath it a moment later |
