He looks cool, The death wing companions are really great sculpts/bits. I also like the green feathers, they work well with the bone colours

Progress!!! It’s taken a massive amount of time to finish this model (there’s so much to it!) Fairly happy with the results. I think the Skinks could have done with a bit more love. The Stegadon took no time at all to build I went with the spikier options! The Howdah was a bit of a pain to align with the slots for the stands. I really liked the Skink Chief sculpt (the helmet looks so cool!) so he made it on. I’m loving the Dinosaurs but I have to get the Krieg ready for 10th.
So my uploads will be Trench related for the foreseeable!

It’s been a while but I’m back on the Krieg! It’s like laying under a warm familiar blanket! I’ve finished the second Plastic Death Korps of Krieg squad from Games Workshop that I own. This is the 8th Infantry Squad for the 3rd Siege Regiment. I’ve imaginatively called them “Squad 8!” I especially enjoyed working on the Medic, I’ve added a little blood on him. Funny really as in the background for the Vraks Campaign it says that Korpsmen don’t really bother with the wounded! Wish I’d thought of that! Sadly half of them are already gone so an army shot is out the window.
I’m currently working on the Ultramarines, Idoneth, Seraphon and Heresy Era Dark Angels.
Should keep things interesting!

Thanks nutty! Yeah I’ve got a lot of plates spinning too! Speaking of which…… It appears I’m not immune to “new shiny” syndrome!! Here’s the first model for my new Tyranid Swarm!  Tyranid Screamer Killer  Tyranid Screamer Killer  Tyranid Screamer Killer  Tyranid Screamer Killer  Tyranid Screamer Killer I got an amazing deal on the Nid half of the Leviathan box! When it arrived this beast was already built so I couldn’t resist! This will be the colour scheme moving forward, you may remember my last Swarm (Hive Fleet Ariagnee) it’s basically a upgrade on that. I’ve chosen natural tones as my inspiration for the army is insects and crabbing with my son! It’ll be a slow burner at first but will ramp up as the new Codex approaches. Thanks for looking! |
