The Army List and info in available here: us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/imperialguard/gaming/ac_rules/default.htmAs to its legality: it is currently under reveiw, and while it was legal in last years gaming events held by GW, it was pulled earlier this year. I contacted GW about this and they said it is still playable in home games and in non-GW run tournaments; but you should warn your opponents you roll with the Armoured Company for home games, and check out whether or not you can play at tournaments by asking the organizers or by checking their list of legal armies. I have an Armoured Company, and love it. Good luck against your bro.

Armoured Companies rock and like trooperlucky573 stated, you should really just check with your local gaming club wether they will let you use the AC list.
