just a quick query. playing some WH40k here.. you cant just use one platoon of guard and a conscript platoon for your basic troop requirement can you? i'm playing an IG v IG match and i've let him use that at the moment but just checking it over.

Of course you can use that. Possible choices for you troops would be: Platoon+Platoon Platoon+Conscripts Platoon+Armoured Fist All three are legal choices, as they all three are part of the troops section, just that Conscripts and Armoured Fist require at least one normal Inf. Platoon

yes, that is right, how are you planning to do this IG vs IG??? maybe if he isnt very mobile outflank him with armoured fist/sentinels/hellhounds/deepstriking stormies (my fave xd) do not underestimate the power of deepstriking stormtroopers, on the turn they deepstriked the stormtrooper with a flamer destroyed a black templar rhino!

yes, you can do that. actually, it's a great way too save some points. conscripts: 2 squads, 2 flamers= less than a 100 points. yay, now i can actually fit in that xtra tank and it's still plenty of bodies. wish they had this in 3rd ed. perfect screening troops . but that's in the past now i guess...
