hey guys, im new to the board but i am a vet with the guard. someone sugested that i place an inquisitor into my army. But have any of you tried it? if so what would you sugest? p.s to see some of my stuff check out coolminiornot.com member rolling thunder. cheers guys for any advice you can give me

Hi, welcome to the forum, I am sorry to say that I have not tried this but I have heard of it and seems pretty cool, I think some other veterans like yourself might be able to help, maybe try the tactics or the normal Ig anything board if you need help, or you might find someone else knows the answer in there.

Unless you go the all the way, which i mean by choosing daemonhunters as an ally its generally a point sink to just use a Inquisitor. Unless you spend a lot of points on him he is useless. Also remenber that the Inquisitor and retinue points cost cancels out a 35 man platoon or a leman russ or two. Honestly i dont think it is a good point investment. Try it anyway however, it might work.

hmm, well maybe if you are going to spend the points on an inquisitor lord, maybe you should buy some grey knights if you want, and maybe for apocalypse it would work good.

alternatly you could use him as a counter charger sice there good at that stuff hope that helps or biist leadership to the units outside an officer range

Inquisito Lords also have the option to pass or fail Ld tests which makes them invaluable for tying up units.
