Completely drop the Vet Srgts as they do jackall. Good choice of heavy and special weapons in the squads. I really like the Vets they will make a good AT squad or a headhunting team. My only suggestion is mobility. You don't have any chimeras and i wouldn't count on rough riders to take and hold objectives. On the topic of mobility, the day IG become a fast army is the day Tau convert Orks to the greater good. IG doesn't have to be fast but it needs some transports. If you really wont to make rough riders worthwhile and you getting a vet srgt at least but him a powersword. Mabye its a typo but one of your platoon commands doesn't have Iron Discipline. Apart from that i really like your list.

the fact that u hav quite a number of hard hitting vehicles plus that AT - squad will make an offensive manouvre with ure infantry platoons worthwhile....ok so u missed a turn shooting ure heavy bolters and missile launchers...but hey....u hav lemun russes and a bassy to pummel the forces....next turn....if ure position is correct then start firing away!....u hav a lot of fire power....thats all i can say...

I was taking the vet sarges for leadership but that was one choice i wasn't sure about. The only reason i liked it is cause it gave them the ability to move out of leadership bubbles and still have decent leadership. I think I'm gonna take them out though. The one command squad without iron discipline is not a typo i just didn't have points but I'm taking out the vet. srgt's so now ill be able to fix that. Again the no power sword is cause of point restrictions but now i can put them in. I also added flamers to the third command squad and now have 3 pts. left and still no chimera.... Now how to fit it in..... HELP!!

I find that people tend to direct of fire to tanks in fear and they ignore platoons, disragarding their potential because of the poor ballistic skill. In fact I use my Leman Russ's merely as fire magnets and if they actually kill anything it's a bonus. What i'm getting at is that four squads per platoon is not necessary. So consider dropping a squad per platoon and putting their heavy weapons with your command squads and using the 185ish points to buy a chimera with three heavy bolters.

I'm considering removing one of the units of vets and making them stormies with a chimera and 2 meltas. Then I only have to take out one squad in one platoon and i get a better objective holding unit. Thats just a thought i had any advice there would be nice.
