this is my 1750pts army list...please help me get it right as this is what I'm gonna buy....eventually.... so here it is my Afrika Korp army: Erwin Rommel (creed, you have to admit the rules wher made for him )Hans-Jürgen Von Arnim(kell) 125 command squad:senior officer, power weapon, bolt pistol master vox,melta gun,carapace armour,chimera, heavy flamer, heavy flamer, track guards, smoke launchers. 214 commissar: bolt pistol, power fist, carapace armour 66 armoured fist squad 1: meltagun, carapace armour, vox,chimera, heavy bolter, heavy bolter, track guards, smoke launchers 193 armoured fist squad 2: meltagun, carapace armour, vox,chimera, heavy bolter, heavy bolter, track guards, smoke launchers 193 armoured fist squad 3: meltagun, carapace armour, vox,chimera, heavy bolter, heavy bolter, track guards, smoke launchers 193 Hellhound 1: track guards,extra armour 130 Hellhound 2: track guards,extra armour 130 basilisk: enclosed crew compartment, track guards 130 leman russ: heavy bolter, sponsons bolters track guards 165 leman russ demolisher: laser canon plasma canons sonsons, track guards 185 total 1 724 still have room for a few things (no heavy weapons in the armoured fist)pleas help me out thanks in advance for any C & C

um, where are the Infantry Platoons, because it's the maximum of one armoured fist squad per infantry platoon (exluding conscrpit platoons) present

right you are....have to make mods...hum.....crud.....well i guess i'll have to take mechenised.... and an extra command squad....
and of course there will be palm tree decals...what do you think i am ...a desert rat?
(the correct answer is a fox ;D)

well since Buck tooth busted my bubble i had to redo my army list changed the doctrines to : Grenadier, shock troops and I'll of course by back the shock troops

nice line up of chirmera and hell hounds would totally own orks

heheh, but seriously, just get an infantry platoon, with two squads, and an armoured fist, hopefully that will work, with mechanised

take the plasma cannon sponsoon off as well as the hull heavy bolter from the lemun russ....takes off most of those 34 points over....and its more fluffy....afterall you can only fire one ordnance weapon...well thats how i would put it...love the list though

actually buck thoots did have point as i din't have a command squad for my troops.
i like the sponsons ...does any one else have ideas on how to lower my point cost

oh, sorry, my bad i guess I didn't think about that, gezz i can be a tool hey don't worry about there are bigger tools than you and atleast you put stuff out there for us to think about. okay back on topic take armoured crew compartment off the bassie trust me there will be terrain to hide it. btw it's more useful to not have heavy weapons when there are meltas in armoured fist squads hope this helps

May I just say, if you use the armoured company list you can get away with infantry platoons. Or take the mechanised doctrine, for that added chimera support!

the rules clearly state that you can only take 1 armoured fist squad for every infantry platoon
