Hello folks. Here I am with my possible upcoming Drop Trooper list (I haven't got all models and all that yet) and I wanted to hear what you had to say about it. I use the rules for the 23rd Elysian Regiment listed in Imperial Armour 3 but this army is built without aircrafts. The reason to that is that I want to have a solid army list without aircrafts that I can use on tournaments, as I've noticed (at least in sweden) aircrafts are not usually allowed on tournaments. Of course I will get myself at least 3 aircrafts for this force aswell for friendly games.
There isn't any real strategy yet, almost everything drops in for a close kill with plasma guns and demolition charges while some elements (the sniper and missile squad) deploys back to provide support. THe platoon command and the two storm trooper squads will go in for objectives or to eleminate special targets if need be. My Senior officer and squad will drop in far from the enemy and provide the rest of the army with a solid leadership of 9.
So.. What do you think? (Yea I know a big list, but I rather write to clear then to... Unclear?) Note that the officers got Iron Discipline and all squad got deep strike (duh?)
