Looks solid overall, although I have a few critiques I could offer: -In a 1.5k points game, I wouldn't go for a heroic senior officer. It will save you a useful 15 points to downgrade to just a senior officer, which you would use to add more troops. -Why no sponsons on the russ? Sponson HB's aren't that expensive, and against tau, eldar, orks and nids, believe me, they will pay for their points 10-fold! -Personally I wouldn't put a plasma pistol on your commanding officer, unless it's master crafted, because otherwise you can get kiled from overheating! -Since you will be fighting tau, eldar, marines, and necrons, who are all generally vehicle-heavy, I would replace 1 or 2 of the missile launchers in your anti-tank support squad with lascannons. Not only would they be more effective, but also they are a better value in AT support squads than missile launchers points wise. -Refractor fields on your commissars aren't necissary; best keep them inexpensive and save more points for more infantry! -Use some of your points left over to give your stormtroopers 2 melta guns, because if you're giving them melta bombs, they could serve very well as an anti-armor squad. Also you should consider giving the stormtrooper veteran sergeant a powerfist instead of a power weapon, because power fists, melta bombs, and melta guns + enemy tanks = no more enemy tanks! -I don't see where you're getting the melta bombs for your AF squad, unless you gave them only to your veteran sergeant... I could see the reason to do that however, I'm not saying its a bad idea. -Personally, I would add more infantry to your platoon! your list doesn't pack enough staying power for the armies like orks and tyrands, because you are going to easily get outnumbered, outflanked, and out fought. You should have no trouble dealing with tau, eldar, marines, and necrons, but orks and tyranids will give your small numbers a hard time. -Last AND least I would take the smoke launchers off the basilisk, because by the time the enemy gets behind your lines, your basilisk won't be your first priority to keep alive, if you know what I mean! Overall, no major objections, although these are just some minor points that will take your list from good to great!

Ok, downgrading the officer, by the time hes in cc it´s a little bit to late anyways Well, i just think sponsons on the russ is fat ugly, but i have fought of it, but that is some extra paint job, and i,ve still got half the army to build and paint, so times running out for me The plasma is for some extra punch, For now on it stays. I´ll find missile launchers more effective and all around, a bit overkill to shoot orks with lascannons Love to have storm troopers with meltaguns and sergeant with powerfist, Only one problem, I dont have any, and the store i´m buying from is 4h trip away. Jepp, the sergant in the AF has the melta bombs. So more troops then. I shall se what i can do. Thanks for the comments More C&C is welcome ;D

It looks like quite a good strong army. One thing you could do if you want more troops is to give the chimera to the Stormtroopers and drop one commissar. This together with the 45pts left over will allow you to get 20 conscripts as a second troop choice. That said it seems like time is an issue for you so this is probably impracticable.

The only reason for not having the Storm troopers in the chimera is because I want there ability do Deep strike/infiltrate, especially the later. Gonna do some changes now when I have some spare time, been working on my chimera for a while now, and I think it looks really nice And how do you use conscripts, what role do they play? Are they good for anything? Thanks

I think conscripts are quite good. Stats wise they arn`t anything to get excited about but, they are cheap so you can have lots of them (30 for 120pts). When they are deployed they stand out from the rest of your army simply by being so big. Your opponent will probably do one of two things. Either give the unit a disproportionate amount of fire, freeing up other units to fire next turn or ignore them allowing you to get within rapid fire range.
Another way I like to look at conscripts is, for every conscript your opponent kills a basic guardsman is still alive. If he kills 10 conscripts (40pts) that means a 10 man infantry squad is still alive (88pts).
Good luck with whatever you choose for your list.
