The Idea is a simple one here.
3 las/plama sqds and 3 tanks set up nice defensive fire base
2 Heavy bolter units infiltrate to set up good cross fire
1 melta sqd infiltrates in forward location to tank hunt
2 demo charge sqds. infiltrate to a good hiding spot(s) to nuke threats agianst the fire base
The 4 man flamer sqd stays in cover just forward of the firebase to cause a little damage and be a speed bump along with the demo sqds.
The assassin and the inquisitor are for counter assault/diversion
This should do good vs. a SM drop pod army ( just pile up )
will have good def for any tring to get into rapid fire range
and not bad vs. orks due to the high fire rates and pie plates
unsure about tau and eldar tho.

ok I played a game at 1100 pts. the list above minus the tanks.( which are in various stages of completion)
I played against a semi-horde(aren't they all) ork list
highlights of his list
1 mega armor warboss 4 mega-nobs on a battle wagon
6 killa kans(big shootas)
2 wartrakks big shootas
2 mobs sluggas and choppas x15ish both with pk nobs
1 storm boy mob x15ish with PK nob
I lost the game due to some good rough terrain rolls and a good whaggh roll from the ork player.
He still may have won without those but would have been a bit more even, if I had 1 more full shooting phase.
A few things about my list.
The DH allies really helped with the counter assault.
holocaust is the nuts, and killed 4 storm boys after the inquis did his own attacks. Even tho he got ate by a power klaw was a good fight.
The demo charges while only having 1 shot worked very well, just as planned with infiltration and then acting as a speed bump.( would work best on more expensive troops but dead orks, are dead orks)
1 of the charges killed 2 mega nobs and wounded the warboss.
Directly after that the assassin soloed the warboss and 1 of the 2 mega nobs leaving the last to break and run.
So the list worked well vs. none MEQs, but do you think it is hurting in that department?(i think the pie plates from the tanks should be enough)
Also what should I add next? I'M leaning towards rough riders but that is just due to a few cool conversion ideas I have. Perhaps a sentinel sqd.

Your Inquisitor and Eversor cost 237 pts total. For 239 you could take a GK Brother Captain and 3 GK Termie retinue with Holocaust on the BC and Holocaust on the Termies. Instead of the randomness of the Eversors attacks on the charge, you could get 8 Stormbolter shots followed up by 13 S6 Powerweapon attacks, one of which could be a Force Weapon attack all at WS5. Follow up with 2 holocausts (if you didnt use the FW attack) and that can make for some dead mobs. Point for point, there really isnt any better unit for the cost. You really cant go wrong with GK Termies. Inquisitors tend to be ehhh... and Eversors fickle.
Also, while I am a vet Daemonhunter player, I am a noob IG player but one thing I do know about IG. More bodies = better list. I would recommend at least one more standard Infantry Platoon. Also, you should move your Lascannons to a AT squad and put Heavy Bolters in the Infantry Squads. One Lascannon shooting at a target will suck, but 3 stand a decent chance of killing it. The Heavy Bolters will get 3 dice by themselves and therefore decent chance as well.
