That's amazing. I really love it. 10/10, and I don't give that often. Excellent conversions too, reckon you could make a tutorial on the carapace Guardsmen?

Thanks! That's very flattering... I might be able to whip something up as far a tutorial goes. -Ben

Thanks heaps, you've inspired me! How do you get such thick highlights? God, you are my Friday Idol!

This is weird. I just painted my first guardsmen, to get an idea of what colors I want, and I settled upon Ultramarine Blue, with Ice Blue highlights and Grey fatigues with fortress grey drybrush. Then I look at your's and say, "Crap, oh well." So, I must say that you picked colors nicely.

Well I use Regal Blue with an Encahnting Blue highlight followed by a second highlight in Ice Blue. Colors are colors... your armour would be lighter in color and you could just switch the fatigues color. I use Codex Grey with a Fortress Grey drybrush, so you could go lighter or darker. A tan or brown might look sweet too.
Also I noticed you're from Charlottsville... my friend who posts here (majorben) and I are at Shenandoah University in Winchester so we're within an hour or two of eachother. Weird.

I did a grey primer from Wal-Mart that is just a hair lighter than Codex Grey.
It's awesome that you're right over the mountain. I actually live in Greene County, just north of C'ville, but the store where I play is in C'ville. You should come by some Saturday or Sunday and catch some games, we got some great players there.
