awsome, I should of said this with the other ones you posted but i cant hide the secret: I really love that blue colour, the way it has been highlighted is just fantastic. And I also really like your commander, I think that is the most origional u can get.

They look great I just think the bases are really "bad" and boring in comparison to the soldiers. But still very great work. like them a lot

I know what you mean, the bases are nothing speacial. I'm not sure waht to do to jazz them up a bit... we'll see if I can whip up some sweeter ones when I get home.

I like the elysian rifles and about the bases, try some static grass - that should be all it takes to make em look first class

Well they're urban based... I guess you can't tell too well with the troopers, but I put more detail into the heavy weapons and sentinels (yet to be finished). Would static grass make sense on urban bases?

Is there any parks were you live? About the grass on your bases...

sure it'd fit; ruined urban areas often have grass growing thru the rubble since there's no one going around keeping the weeds and underbrush from reclaiming the ruins as time passes. beyond that, who's to say your army is always in an urban environment? maybe they'll have a campaign that sees them fighting in the trenches or across open countryside at some point in the future. I know my army started as a part of the Cadian 7th but is now part of the Cadian 551st (officer was transfered, and since he is a noble on Cadia, alot of his troops went with him since they're -his- troops and not the Cadian 7th - another way Cadia is different than the typical guard world). at any rate, my guardsmen have long since left the crater blasted wasteland that is Cadia and have had many campaigns on worlds with terrain other than the rubble strewn blasted landscape of Cadia.

Agreed....also if you just want something small for the bases, get some of your sprues and cut them up. They look really good for small bits of rubble.
