The minis look like TT quality. No doubt. The colors withing the lines and bases are done.
My advice here now are many. I can see that you can do better. First of all lets start with the yellow areas.
I guess your using a black undercoat (since the colors are thick on the minis). If you do thats good, but to get a good yellow coat on black you need to work with different layers. Not just one big one.
First of all, my own way of making yellow with normal GW paints, I add a layer of brown. Very important is to use thin layers, add som water to make it thiner. Once that first layer is done, add another brown layer, but this time a brighter brown. Finaly take something like Vomit brown and add it. What you can do also in these steps is to leave some of the old layers visable. This you do in areas where shades would fall. Example is in gaps and next to raised areas. Now you take golden yellow and add a thin layer. After that add normal yellow and finally white+yellow on the edges for a high light.
For your brown areas, I would do the same. Start with a dark brown color, then add thin thin layers with other brown colors until you reach your desired color.
With the red, yet againthe brown is a good base to work from. Important again is thin layers of color.
For the faces I would recomend flesh wash. Put a thin layer of Elf flesh or some other skin tone, then add flesh was + water on the face/skin. Once the wash is dryed, wirk with skin colors again on the raised areas.
On the base, I would drybrush with bleched bone to get some depth into the base apearance.
Hope you dont think I am an [insert bad word] hole now. Some people usually dont like when I give adive like this. They rather hear that its all great and "keep up the good work" and not hear anything about improvment. Well as I said in the start, they are within the lines and Table Top quality, but I can see that you are able to do better from how the areas are painted.
Yours Truly

Again same as above, i like the scheme, it's different, i have personally never seen yellow guard and i like it
the thing i find odd is you did an amazing job on your Jarren Kell model, but the other models just seem lower quality and i think if u worked a bit more on them they could be as good a quality as your character model.

you see thats the thing...painting ALOT of guardsmen is what gets to you...well maybe me...and painting 'metal' figures to me give them that extra important feel to them...like i did with my storm troopers....but dun wrry vash, can't change the painting now, no harm done sergeant

These storm troopers look really good. Nice ans smooth layers. Only complaint I might have is the high lights. They seem abit large, but then again, the pictures are pretty large too . How to scale down the picture size? Well in photoshop you can do it easily. But if you dont have photshop, then the picture upload site www.photobucket.com has a function once you have uploaded your picture. Once your picture is uploaded you can resize it. Shrik it with 25, 50 or 75% at the time. Photobucket is a free upload site so dont worry about that. Hope you will solve it. Keep us posted! Yours Truly Vash

I like how you changed up skin color, the imperial guard are supposed to be one fo the most diverse races in the universe, i don't see why no one ever has any african americans skin types

I see you have real talent of portraying battlefield gore. Your models really look like there were engaged in bloody battle not having picnic in the park. That's a rare thing so keep up the good work

They look great, no doubt, I really love the paint scheme and all the battle field gore, but, just a small but, but you may want to clean up the models before you paint them. The reason is is that you can see the mold lines on them and in most ways it wrecks the model. All in all, that is one striking army.hope to se more pics soon

Thanks hehe i wanted those buggers to look as if they were experts on the field, using what they had around them, rather than looking fresh out of the barracks....so i just decided to make a scening base for one of them looking out from a makeshift emplacement., i think ile get some picks of my rough riders up too...
