Brilliant! I've really been looking forward to seeing these guys! I do wish you would get hold of a better camera but from what I can see they are really great! You are really getting better at doing minis mate! Looking forward to seeing more of them soon.

one way of dealing with the zoom issue (that madman, may he rest in his MIA statused peace, mentioned once was that he took the picture at normal range, not trying to get close, but since the picture file is so big, he just opened paint or whatever and cropped the photo to just have the mini in it - instant full focus zoom! might be worth a try). another thought occured to me - these guys would look sweet with a light brown ink wash on them; it'd add alot of depth and detail at practically no effort. be sure to water the wash down with alot of , well, water if you don't think the wash is thick enough, have faith and leave it; alot of the color shows up as the wash dries and the pigment in the wash settles in the cracks as it runs. ends up looking really great when at first the wash is practically un-noticable when you paint/dip it on.

theese look great, and thats your answer for everything isnt it turtleboy brown washes! I loled, you get a point. yeah yeah it's true, but I think it looks so good! I won't totally hijack the thread by posting a pic of a model with a nice wash on it, but tell me it doesn't make a model look twice as awesome.

So, Turtleboy's answer to everything is wash it with brown ink, whereas Boba's answer to everything is get a better camera. I get it. I might try a test model sooner or later, just one with brown ink.

ummm... we will let turtleboy cover that one but propably just keep it thin so the green still stands out.
