Hopefully these guys will not get as much "attention" as last time, i've changed all the markings and tried to improve my painting on the comments of what people said last time, so hopefully you like them. C&C appricated

They look good. The paint scheme looks really good. But you should remove mold lines more carefully with your crafting knife and and the circles on the shoulder pad needs some work as well.
And what colours did you use for the camo?

Very nice!! I like the colour scheme, and it is more "politically correct"! Your painting skills are very good!

Yeah, they're good. I play Germans in a WWII wargame, and I try to stay away from the SS or any other of the regiments formed fro mthe origional browshirts. Get some 28mm panzers, THAT will be cool.

Much better, but they could still use some more highlighting and shading, particularly on the boots and leather pieces. I wouldn't worry too much about mold lines, I don't generally spend too much time removing them, because their effect on the model is too small to be noticed on tabletop. I'd only worry about that if I was doing a showcase.

Looks great but could do with a wash to add more depth and the base could do with a bit of dry brushing.

Very cool! These are way cooler than the ones you did before. It's amazing how such a small change can make such a big difference.
A few things: Take a ew minutes to get rid of mould lines before you start painting. It is easy to do and it makes a big difference as mould lines always become very visible after painting. Also, try to work on your shading and highlighting on the skin areas. Some watered down Flesh Ink/Wash followed by a light highlight of Elf Flesh on the raised areas really make a difference. The base could use some highlighting too.
Other than these things I think he's great! Looking forward to seeing more.

haha joebob. they look great and personally, if you wanna spend your money and time on a nazi themed army, then go for it - it's your time/money, not anyone elses. these models look really nice by the way

I`m really liking how you`ve used the pointy out bits on the helmets as a way of marking out the squads. I want to move away from using transfers because they are too shiny and unrealistic so I might use your idea to distinguish my units.
Oh and for some reason this topic has made me realise how great the Imperial Guard are because unlike the other armies you can paint your troops in almost any camoflage scheme you want.

yeah, they look great.
and i think that is why somepeople collect ig 9th company because you can paint them purple and say they have been in a world overtaken by slaneesh etc etc

Exactly, so much better than (in my opinion anyway) armies like space marines where each chapter already has its own colour scheme.

you can make your own space marine chapter, or ork color scheme, or eldar craftworld, or chaos marines chapter or tau sept. Every army in Warhammer 40k is open to you making your own color scheme, not just IG. There are millions of armies romping around the universe, so the ones documented in codexes obviously aren't the only ones and GW supports that. They even have DIY chapter contests. So maybe you're new to the hobby, but every army was designed with the idea that people were going to paint them however they felt like.

Yeah but with marines you use the same models, the same patterns, bright colours, etc. IG has the widest variety of any race between its different sub-factions, with doctrines and seperate model lines.

I`m not new I`ve just been collecting for a long time. I remember a time (about 10 years ago) when there were very few ways on painting armies. I think back then there were only 3 marine chapters, ultramarines, blood angels and dark angels. It was the same for all the other armies too. The big exception at the time was the imperial guard who had the biggest miniature range, (even though they were all metal) and were not tied to already existing camo schemes. I know times have changed abd you can do whatever you want but I still like to think of 40,000k as it was back then. But anyway I didn`t want to start a flame war between the guard and marines after all, there are far more of them than us.
