Paintoff '07 Showdown elimination method

this is a vote for contestants of the IGMB Paintoff '07.

Please post that you've voted once you cast a vote. This is to make sure the number of votes cast equals the number of contestants voting. if there is a discrepency, the poll will be deleted and restarted. again, please don't vote unless you're a contestant of the '07 Paintoff. thanks in advance!

voting will close on 8/9/07 on this matter.


Option A: Keep the Showdown as is. anyone may call for a showdown at which point all contestants have 7 days to meet or beat the point total of the contestant who called for a showdown at the time he called for it.

Option B: As above, but only the last place contestant is knocked out of the Showdown.

Option C: as Option B, but only the Leader may call Showdowns

In addition to posting you've cast your vote, please include your preference for the duration of time all contestants should have to meet or beat the Showdown score.

an example post would look something like this:

"Hi I voted, and I think we should get 10 days to work before a showdown ends."

I like option c due to me having control..

7 days is a good time length though.. gives the last few guys to have one hell of a showdown while the leader can sit back and relax and work on their conversions and better painting levels

Option C as I think that it's senseless to let call others who don't have the lead calling showdowns.

And of course that makes things more interesting for the last ones (including me and perhaps it'll give me some motivation to drop some more pics in)

I think we have a winner.. this is more active posts with regards to the paint off than the paint off is currently having

alright, option c then. leader only can call showdowns and 7 days later only the last place person is eliminated.
